Our patented harvesting technologies allows us to find and harvest relevant content from Deep Web sources, unlike Google and Bing which return only the most popular links.
With over five years working directly with the U.S. Intelligence Agencies, BrightPlanet is now offering its services to the commercial market and we are recruiting and training qualified applicants to become Web Research Navigators.
BrightPlanet's content Navigators use propriety technology to find and harvest Deep Data ("unknown and hidden" data) on the Web on behalf of our customers. Every problem is unique and challenging.
Content Navigator tasks include:
- Identifying and qualifying topic specific online Deep Web sources
- Configure, test and maintain sources
- Work directly with customers to build unique harvest profiles
- Assess and refine quality of returned content
- Help design, populate and manage interactive Web portals
- Work closely with our R&D team fulfilling customer requirements
To qualify for this job you must be an exceptional candidate with any combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates competence in each of the following:
- Career Oriented
- Ability to plan, develop, and implement complex research projects and present results
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
- Results oriented and able to consistently meet tight project deadlines
- Ability to work successfully both independently and in small teams
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Computer literacy and comfort working with the Internet
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- The desire to work with the sense of ownership and urgency to see projects to completion
- Abiltiy to translate client business needs to successful projects
- Communicate efficently and effectively with customers
- Some HTML and programming a strong positive
