Opens Charlotte, North Carolina Office

(Charlotte, NC) — Gary Bishop has been named BrightPlanet's Operations Manager, and will be based in BrightPlanet's new Charlotte, North Carolina office. His responsibilities are ensuring BrightPlanet's continued focus on addressing customer needs, quality assurance, monitoring changing priorities, and managing projects in the most efficient manner. Mr. Bishop will expand the company's capacity for the many concurrent activities requiring constant coordination, as well as personally taking on many special projects that arise. He will report directly to Duncan Witte, BrightPlanet's President and COO.

Mr. Bishop joins BrightPlanet from S1 Corporation where he served as Principal Consultant in their Professional Services Organization for the past 9 years. His background includes over 30 years of system development, on-site integration, and other customer-facing duties, mainly in the financial services sector. Mr. Bishop has previously held positions with Edify Corporation, First Data Services, Wachovia Corporation, Boatmen's Bank, and National Safety Associates.
