(SIOUX FALLS, SD) -- BrightPlanet's Deep Query Manager specializes
in searching through thousands of searchable databases with a single query
(both in the surface and Deep Web) then manages the content to make it
actionable.
The company just released DQM version
V.2.3. "We're always excited about releasing new features that
have been highly requested from our user base" says Jerry Tardif,
Vice President. "Two features in this release have been among the
most highly requested of all: automatic exportability and emailability
of harvest results."
With version v.2.3, users can now
- export DQM harvest results into a file; including
individual results and/or entire results sets. Users can have the results
exported as an HTML file or as an XML file.
- email DQM harvest results. Users may email the results
you're viewing on the Results Manager tab; or they can email one or
more results sets at one time from the File Manager tab; or they can
set an option which causes the automatic email of a Deep Harvest or
a Site Harvest at time of harvest completion. And as with the export
feature, users can have the results emailed as an HTML file or as an
XML file.
The DQM has always allowed users to
schedule multiple searches to monitor changes on the web or to constantly
search for new content. The new version now allows users to have the new
results emailed to them directly, without the need to open the application
to view them. The DQM will ZIP, attach, and send the
results set at time of harvest completion to your email address.
The V2.3 Release Notes contain additional information
about other changes to this version of DQM. And as always,
the Help system provides more information about each feature.
"We know our customers will benefit from these
new features. Feature requests and suggestions are always welcome and
are the source of many of the new enhancements," says Tardif.
